$14 dollars and 30 minutes of my life that I cannot get back. This book should be "Programming for Elementary School Students". Was of no use at all. To top it off the poor grammar and syntax errors made it unbearable. I was actually embarrassed showing this book to co-workers. You can find many better options for your money. Hopefully the author corrects the mistakes and improves.Product details

R Programming For Beginners For Data Science Crash Course eBook Martin Laredo Reviews
After reading a few sentences, I was disappointed with this book. There are awesome free books and tutorials on R that's much better.
Great for beginners! Also makes a handy reference!
Poor grammar and many typographical errors make this text very hard to read. It was disappointing as a good book on r is hard to find.
This book is not for a Beginner in programming in R. This is for a beginning reader with no math or CS education even at a high school freshman level. It is written by a B.A. in Creative Writing ! The book is so simple - a quick scan of Wikipedia provides more information.
The blurb mentions statistics and Data Science several times but this book does not cover any amount of either of these topics.
While it may be of use to someone who knows nothing about R, there are better books to learn the basics from. Also, this book's very large font size and low page count makes it not worth the price to me.
This was pretty weak introduction and free online anyway. The first exercise was stupid, writing 'welcome sir'. I know that some guys want to push women out of programming, or assume only males would read such a book, but when I told my husband about 'welcome sir' he was disgusted and said how would a man feel if the first exercise was 'welcome madam'.
